OUR HISTORY

Sherwood Chemicals Public Company Limited has a long history in manufacturing and supplying household chemical products, having acquired the household chemical business from SHELL Thailand in 1996. Many products from well recognized brands such as Chaindrite, Chaingard, Stedfast, Vapona, Biforce, Fipforce, Imiforce and Teepol, are manufactured and supplied by Sherwood Chemicals (Thailand) throughout Asia and Australia. All household insecticide products that Sherwood Thailand has exported to Australia have been registered with APVMA (Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority).

  Expanded distribution channels by having two new dealers established in North Eastern of Thailand.The new recorded of total revenue and gross profit in the first quarter was 300.16 million baht and 52.48 million baht.

  Continually implemented our 5-year plan, which emphasized the extension of our product distribution network, expansion to foreign and agrochemical markets, and new product developments.

  Expanded into international markets.

  Recorded sales of 1,000 million baht. Won the Quality Award 2011 from FDA (Food and Drug Administration).

  Established Sherwood Chemicals Australasia Co., Ltd.

  Constructed our cleaning product factory.

  Expanded into the public health chemical product market.

  Listed Sherwood Chemicals on the Stock Exchange of Thailand with the registered capital of 150 million baht.

  Constructed our manufacturing plant in Wellgrow Industrial Estate, Chachoengsao, Thailand.

  Established Sherwood Chemical Co., Ltd., with the registered capital of 30 million baht.

In Thailand, Sherwood Chemicals Public Company Limited manufactures and distributes chemical products for household and industrial usage, agrochemicals and public health. All products containing technical materials, the substances which require proper license, must be and have been registered with and licensed by either the FDA, the Ministry of Public Health or the Department of Agriculture, the Ministry of Agriculture and Co-operative. Every batch of product manufactured is to be analyzed and approved in accordance to the controlled product specifications prior to pack and release for sale. The Company strives to continually develop and improve existing products and also to create new products through its research and development department. The Company currently sells approximately 220 products under 130 trademarks.

The Company’s manufacturing factories are divided into two products group; insecticide products and cleaning products. In order to guarantee high quality formulations, Sherwood Chemicals core insecticide products are manufactured from our first factory in accordance with ISO9001 (Quality Management System), ISO14001 (Environmental Management System) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Similarly, our second factory, which is manufacturing mainly cleaning products, also has been certified with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), ISO9001, ISO14001 and GMP.
